Plenum Jacket:

This Ethernet networking cable contains a noncombustible jacket that produces less to no smoke than any other PVC jacket. This cable is perfect to run in plenum spaces (above-suspended ceilings or below raised floors).
The plenum-rated cables have special fire retardant coatings on them, this is why they do not catch themselves on fire. Along with the plenum jacket, the insulation is high-density polyethylene (HDPE) insulation.
